The Automobiles and Related Products segment manufactures and sells automobiles and auto-related moulds, as well as components. The company also designs, produces, and sells integrated circuits, solar batteries, and solar arrays. In addition, it is engaged in the development, sale, and leasing of residential properties; provision of property management services; and taxi business and rental of electric vehicles. The company operates primarily in China, India, Europe, and the United States. It has strategic collaboration with ABB Ltd. to develop solutions for energy storage building. BYD Company Limited was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Shenzhen, China.
