In May 2013, WWE Equity Holdings Inc., an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners L.P., completed its compulsory acquisition of Western Wind. On May 21, 2013, the Company acquired 84.065% interest in Western Wind Energy Corp.
